"It's rigged"

Highlights:

- We had a ward talent show that was pretty fun. Elder Bailey did an interpretive dance of a raindrop.

- Aleksa came to church and we had a good lesson afterwards. She is now set to be baptized on April 14th. Aleksa is really awesome and is very excited to be baptized. Aleksa says that everything is rigged for her, but that's just God.

- We contacted two referrals that we got and they are both pretty cool. We should be meeting with them this week.

- Both Elder Bailey and I gave talks in sacrament meeting. We were told the day before.

- General Conference is coming!

Spicy Ramen

Highlights:

- Another "Why I Believe" fireside.

- We saw a bunch of our investigators this week and had good meetings with them. 

- We are going to meet a bunch of our investigators this week. 

- We had zone conference last week and that was pretty good. Half of it we learned about the smart phones stuff we are going to get. Turns out that we are going to be using facebook as well. I don't really want to do that. 

- We went to a Pacific Ocean Marketplace which is similar to H-mart. And I got Elder Bailey to eat ramen for the first time in his life.

Peoria

Highlights:

- We had another "Why I believe" fireside last night and it was good. 

- Aleksa came to the fireside and she loved it. She is still doing really awesome.

- We finally met with Maddy, a 10yr old girl we're teaching. She is really cool, but we haven't been able to meet with her mom. Hopefully next time.

- We've been working with a lot of people and talking with some people that God has guided into our paths. Super cool.

- We're still having a bunch of fun here. Good times.

Nathans response to some questions I asked him.

Peoria is actually pretty close to Denver. It's the city of Aurora. We are only 10 minutes from Bible Park, where I served before in Denver.

Elder Bailey is from South Carolina. Right in the middle of it. He came out a transfer after me but is going home the same time as me due to school.

Yeah, I'm using the same bike as before. It's still holding up well.

"Why I Believe" Fireside

"Uh, we can't afford this"

Highlights:

- Had a super "cool" hike last Monday.

- Transfers happened. I sadly got transferred out of Louisville. I was super sad. But now I'm in Peoria. This place is crazy. It's like Tacoma WA but worse. And my new companion is Elder Bailey. We've had so much fun the past couple of days.

- We are working with some really cool people here in Peoria. Aleksa, Caroline and Emmanuel, Madeline and Kayla, and Said.

- A member gave us $25 to go eat for dinner so we went to Mr.Kim's Korean BBQ, but after looking at the menu we decided to leave and when the waitress came for our order, Elder Bailey was freaking out and "uh, we can't afford this" and we walked out. We then went next door to a Vietnamese place. We sat down got the waters and looked at the menu and then Elder Bailey faked a phone call that we had to go to the hospital to see someone and we walked out. We then went to a super cheap fake chinese buffet for dinner. 

- I'm in another biking area.
