"Uh, we can't afford this"

Highlights:

- Had a super "cool" hike last Monday.

- Transfers happened. I sadly got transferred out of Louisville. I was super sad. But now I'm in Peoria. This place is crazy. It's like Tacoma WA but worse. And my new companion is Elder Bailey. We've had so much fun the past couple of days.

- We are working with some really cool people here in Peoria. Aleksa, Caroline and Emmanuel, Madeline and Kayla, and Said.

- A member gave us $25 to go eat for dinner so we went to Mr.Kim's Korean BBQ, but after looking at the menu we decided to leave and when the waitress came for our order, Elder Bailey was freaking out and "uh, we can't afford this" and we walked out. We then went next door to a Vietnamese place. We sat down got the waters and looked at the menu and then Elder Bailey faked a phone call that we had to go to the hospital to see someone and we walked out. We then went to a super cheap fake chinese buffet for dinner. 

- I'm in another biking area.

Highlights:

- Met a lady named Phyllis who is now investigating AND came to stake conference yesterday. 

- Had Stake conference. It was so good. Especially the adult session. 

- Elder K. Brett Nattress spoke at stake conference and he is cool. We talked with him a little and shook his hand.

- It snowed some more. And now it's nice and beautiful and we're going hiking today.

- Had good interviews with President Savage. 

- Our mission is getting smartphones in April. And because I'm leaving soon I don't have to buy one! I'll get a loner phone.

More Snow!

Hi.

Highlights:

- We moved into another members house this last week. And he just got an eight week old  lab puppy.

- We had a really awesome lesson with Kim and had some really awesome members there. Kim is now on for Mar 17th baptism. Pray that it sticks.

- We got an awesome winter storm yesterday and last night. Probably 6 inches of snow. I could barely see getting home last night. It was awesome.

- Had a great lesson with Tant. Taught him the restoration and he said he'd like to know if it's true. Pray for his wife though, she's having surgery tomorrow on her knee and we won't be able to meet him for a couple weeks.

Not today Satan!

Hey.

Highlights:

- Zone Conference was great. 

- Sister Savage says "Not today Satan!"

- We had another "Why I Believe" mission fireside. It was really great. We sang "This is the Christ" as a mission choir again and it was amazing. 

- I saw a bunch of my missionary buds at the above mentioned fireside.

- We met with a bunch of investigators this past week. Kim, Tant, Sam, Richard. Most of them are doing well. Kim said she prayed about the Book Mormon and says she knows it's true. She'l be baptized by the end of march. 

- The lady that we're living with made cinnamon rolls (there famously good!).

- We didn't get in a car accident in all the winter weather that happened. 👍
