The libraries were indeed closed yesterday and we are emailing today.
This past week was ok. We were able to teach Curtis and get to talk to Tom. Curtis enjoyed the message of the restoration, but it has not touched his heart yet. We just got to know Tom and set expectations.
A really cool thing that happened is George Durrant and Susan Easton Black came to visit our mission while they were doing some other devotionals here, so we got to hear them. They are both incredible. Susan Easton Black is probably the most knowledgeable person about Joseph Smith on the planet (I'm not kidding). She's written/co-authored over 160 books, and I plan on reading a couple when I get home.
One of my new favorite quotes:
"Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it, the more it eludes you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder." - Henry David Thoreau
Have a blessed week,
Elder Wheelwright
