Howdy

Hey peeps.

Some interesting things have happened this week.

We had zone conference this week, and we learned about some changes that are going to happen to every missionary in the world, starting Thursday. It has to do with the daily schedule.  I'll let you guys watch the World-wide broadcast on Wednesday.  I think its really awesome for the most part.

Lars didn't come to church yesterday :(  We went and talked to him yesterday evening and been sleeping all day because he was out all night. So we scolded him and we told him that we had to push his baptismal date back. It's sad. I hope we don't get transferred so that we can be here when he gets baptized. So we can make sure that he gets baptized. He is our main focus right now.

On Saturday we did exchanges and I went to another area with Elder Gagon. We love him. He's awesome. This is his second transfer. It was a fun time. I got to drive a car for the first time in many months. It's a really new car too. Nicest car I've ever driven. 2016 Chevy Malibu. It has remote start and all sorts of nice things.
So while on exchanges, Elder Hendrick and our DL found and talked to an NFL player. He played for the Broncos last year.

Elder Hendrick's birthday is the 29th. One day after mine. So we are going to party hard.

Hi

It's been a pretty alright week. Appointments have canceled and people have dropped us. But we keep going.

Things have been going good with Lars recently.  We put him on date for Feb 11th which happens to be his birthday.   He was kind of excited. The thing with him though, is we don't think he fully understands baptism and the commitment it is.  We'll work on that when we meet with him tomorrow.
Chance has kind of dropped us. Things are crazy for him right now, so he said he would call us when he is more open. So that could be in a couple weeks or a couple months. πŸ˜Ά Hopefully it happens sometime.
Tony has dropped us as well. He kind of blew up on us via text when we asked him why he wouldn't be able to make it to church. Oh well.

We have made some good progress with one of our less actives, Sis Koch. We introduced her to family history and she seemed pretty interested in that. We just need to get her some friends in the ward and I think will come back.

We've done a lot of biking in the snow this week. Its pretty easy until it gets to 4+ inches.

Transfers will be coming up on February 8th

Bye,

Happy 2017

This last week was a pretty interesting one. It was also a week without a p-day. Blessed p-days.

The thing I'm most excited for is our new investigator Chance. He is so excited and he loves the church and is excited to learn more everyday. He is in his 30's and he is a cool guy. Right now he is pretty golden. πŸ‘

We again achieved our goal this week of eleven lessons. Pretty sweet. One day we taught 5 lessons. It's a new record for us in this area. Pretty sweet.

We've also found and established contact with some less actives here, when I didn't think that any of the less actives would let us in. Two of them, we are teaching and they have a lot changes that they want to make in there life, we just have to help them out.

Christmas and New Years was fun. We had a party the night of new years eve. I went to bed at 10:30 still though πŸ˜ͺ We had lots of beer that night. And we made our own chess set with cardboard and duct tape.

Thank you all again for the packages and gifts that I received. It made for a fun time.

We had some hardcore weather this last week and I almost lost some toes and fingers. We biked a lot in the snow. In about three inches of snow. We learned how to drift our bikes and we got pretty good at it. Fun times.

Merry New Years Eve

Surprise again! Another p-day on saturday.

Hello again.

This week has been a hard week. The week between Christmas and new years. Everyone just says come back after the holidays. Pretty lame. Next week will be bumpin' tho.

We met with Lars this week and that was pretty cool. We are going to get him baptized this transfer. That is the goal.

Christmas was pretty awesome. Got to skype all the fam. Fun times.

Thank y'all who sent me mail and packages and presents. It was a fun time.

Peace, Love, and Happy New Years.
