Round Two

So next Wednesday is transfers again. Looks like it will be a repeat of this transfer. By that I mean that I will be training another fresh from the MTC Elder in this area. Looks like I won't be sweeping again, thankfully. Also the zone that I'm in has been shrunk from 2 districts to 1 district. Lots of missionaries serving in two wards. Elder Hills be leaving to be trained by someone else.

Other than that we were able to meet with one of our investigators on Saturday. He decided that he wanted to meet at 9:00am. We'll take what we can get. He is a busy man. We were able to teach him the Plan of Salvation. He received it well, and we gave him a French BoM so he can read it better.  But he has a crazy work schedule for the next couple weeks, so we are going to meet him after black friday.

We've been trying to meet with this other investigator that we found a couple weeks ago, but he has no short memory basically, so he doesn't remember if he is busy or not. But we are going to meet him tomorrow.  Hope for the best.

There is an electric bike shop here in the southlands mall where Elder Hills has gotten a lot of his repairs at. And we have plans to rent an electric tandem bike to bike around a reservoir (8mi). It will be quite an experience. I will get pictures. Supposedly its a pretty beautiful ride. My goal of a tandem bike will be sort of completed.

By the way the weather has been amazingly warm here. Pretty hot during the day, and only recently has it been chilly at night. But I hear that that will change. It will be really warm until this Thursday, than it will snow. Its so unusual for Colorado to be this warm this time of year.

Well that's about it for this week ladies and gents. Oh and Elder Hills almost took out (got taken out) by a deer. 6-7 point buck actually. He came around a corner of a trail really fast to get up a hill and the deer just looked into his bike light and walked off. It wasn't scared of people.

Later,
Elder Wheelwright.
